Child dental health charity based in Hull
Working in partnership with dental practices, schools and parents since 2010.
Teeth Team started in 2010 when local dental practices, the salaried dental services and a dental supply company shared concerns about the high incidence of dental decay in local children, joining forces to create the programme.
In 2017, Teeth Team won the first ever 'Outstanding Innovation' award from the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry, recognising excellent work in support of children's oral health. In January 2018, Teeth Team presented its annual report in Westminster.
The programme is now a well-established, nationally recognised child dental health improvement initiative across the City of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, and has been adopted as a template by the Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board. As a charity, Teeth Team relies exclusively on grants and donations, receiving no government funding.
If you're a teacher or parent who would like Teeth Team to visit your school, a dental professional who would like to get involved, or you would like to sponsor Teeth Team, please get in touch.
